Public Records Requests are an easy way to hold your government accountable with transparency. Every government department and agency has a different process for requesting public records. Arizona law requires public records requests be responded to in a reasonable time -- but that can be days or months depending on the size of the record. You can also submit public records requests by sending an email.
Items you can request public records for include anything related to public business including but not limited to text messages, emails, calendars, and even lists of public records requested others have submitted.
